Analysis from lifetime mortgage lender Pure Retirement has identified different customer profiles between men and women who’ve applied on a single life basis. With the gender split closing among single life applicants in Q3 (58% female, compared to 70% at the same point last year), the lender has sought to explore the differing trends emerging between male and female borrowers.

Lifetime mortgage lender Pure Retirement has strengthened its adviser support through the appointment of a new Business Development Manager, as well as the enhancement of processes and tools. Natasha Phillips joins the lender’s Intermediary Sales team as the field-based BDM for London and the South East, supplementing the existing face-to-face support for advisers offered nationally through other regional BDMs.

Analysis by lifetime mortgage lender Pure Retirement has found that more than one in four (27%) of new lifetime mortgages in Q2 were taken out for debt and mortgage repayments, a proportion which has stayed constant on a quarterly basis, but represents a rise from the 25% seen during Q2 of 2024.
